There are a number of pubs in the area (and we’ve tried them all!), however you would have to go a long way to do better than the Chipshop. Ideally situated close to heart of the Tamar Valley mining area, you are always assured a warm welcome by Landlord Steve Callender and his wife Lynn. A good selection of Real Ales is always available, plus great food at sensible prices, ample parking, and skittle alley - did I mention good beer? The Copper Mine Restaurant does get busy during the summer months so if you are intending to dine here we recommend you phone first to check availability. To get there Take the road out of Morwellham and at the main road junction turn left. At roundabout go straight on. Chipshop Inn is on left hand side of the road after a couple of miles - you can’t miss it. |
